This saarang I had grand plans of going to goa again. Unfortunately I couldnt get enough people to go with. Our man Varun .sith a.k.a wolverine (the way he wants himself to be called) showed full enthusiasm but others didnt. So I had to give up finally and waste away my " precious time" in pursuance of undisturbed sleep during whole of saarang.
Now as I am down with my GRE preps,I always feel an irritation in my fingers to go ahead with one more blog.May be to use my newly acquired vocabulary skills.Whatever, the reason may be its so much of fun writing blogs.I wish I do the same thing if at all I go for internship to USA or France or may be Norway...land of scandinavian females...yo baby....but its very very tentative so I cant say anything.
So,giving in to my blog writing urge...I decided to tell my folks about my Goa trip which happened last year......one of the most amazing places I had ever been to.
I will go picture by picture.

Portugese influence is so apparent here. Its almost everywhere...somewhat like french influence(oh....french.....i hate using the word now) in Pondicherry."VIVA SAN JOAD" as the T-shirt reads....perhaps some goan festival .I came by these people as we were on our way to Calangute beach.

Now those of you who think that I am babyish and all(@ cb and kv),think again.Especially,in a place like goa where alchohol flows you cannot really resist yourself from indulging yourself. These are my bro's pals. The middle one was a true drunkard. Each of his meals used to start and end with a drink. No food without drink.

Thats my brother...one on the right....holdin the cap.Look carefully the rising tide behind them with the thin skyline. It was a high tide .....I was far away with the camera....My camera's 6mp resolution and 3x zoom came handy.

Bro and one of his best pals Raja! This bloke is so goddam(oh...this might be last time I will ever use the word....) fair...it makes you think twice about his being Indian.

Now I goto places and dont do some chutiyap...thats so impossible....you see me in the centre in a posture which is supposed to indicate that Chruch people(We are near to a church in South goa) are blowing off my head on charge of blashphemy.....nothin of that sort...just fun..or rather chutiyap...

the most famous church in South Goa.....Some saints dead body is kept in case inside..I dont really know the name of the saint...I didnt really care...structure was worthy enough of being captured in a picture. So my camera flashed.

The same church on the inside....amazingly beautiful......!

A part of "Dil chahta Hai" was shot in the fort which I am in right now.Standing on the top of the fort lets you have a panoramic view of this palatial hotel which stands by the sea.

Oh..if I forgot to tell you its nothing better than roaming around in goa on bikes...you feel so energised..it was monsoon at that time in Goa...the downpour was incessant and pretty heavy...but we had fun....so much of fun...Raindrops hitting the eyes constantly still we were driving like madmen....Wo man.....these are memories.....real memories...

Folks in a drinking mode.....I had vodka as much as i can remember....I dont like it a lot though.....

We were driving just next to the backwaters.....It was almost like you drive at an angle and you are in waters......super......We stopped by for a picture..my camera was giving out screams so .......We had to stop!

Isnt it amazing...not me morons...the view behind :) !

Day2 :we were roaming around in South Goa....Right now we are in a shack at the baga beach....most of us had "fenny"...not "fanny" a popular drink in goa...I had red wine though.....

As it happened the same night we got stuck somewhere in rain and we had to wait till 2 o clock in some unknown place just standing.....bro had just managed to avoid an accident.....we all were hungry as hell.....but the whole city was sleeping....so we decided to go to the nearest five star hotel ...MARRIOTT....With the first look on the menu we realised its unaffordable....so wha tdid we do....fuck hunger and all lets just drink....haha...

Day3 : we didnt do much...this is a place called "dona paulo" .Sea was rough that day ....if you can make out from the picture.....

People werent allowed to go to that spot...none of had our adrenalin pumping to take that risk...

Back to bangalore: I am the least religious guy you can ever come across...but when it comes to taking absurd pictures whether its religious or not.......my camera starts to rock 'n roll!!!!

Standing tall.....atop MMhills...does the name ring any bells...this was once the dreaded Veerappan area......I got a chance to go to the place with my uncle..trip was boring as hell....but I didnt have many options that time...My intern project was over...I was pretty jobless....So got ready for whatever came my way.....
Abientot!!!!!
